All The Best Looks From The 2022 Oscars Red Carpet

It’s Hollywood’s favourite night of the year!

The Oscars is like the Superbowl of red carpets, but instead of a bunch of men in shoulder pads and helmets vying for the Vince Lombardi Trophy, you get A-listers in designer suits and gowns coveting the Academy’s golden statuette.

After last year’s soirée was curtailed due to COVID, anticipation was high for the 94th Academy Awards (I mean, how many pre-parties does one event need?!). The culmination of that excitement could be seen outside the Dolby Theatre as the darlings of the silver screen posed for the cameras. It was a noticeably neutral affair, with pops of colour (namely red, yellow and purple).

But almost as exciting as the red carpet are the nominees for the 2022 Oscars, which include Andrew Garfield, Will Smith, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Stewart and Kirsten

I Took the Plunge and Tried Cold Water Therapy. Here’s What Happened

Cold plunges and ice baths are having a moment. But does this hot trend deliver real health benefits?

“Our aim is to deliver peak experiences of awe and connection, and your experience is super-boosted to the moon — to the moon!”

I’m sitting in a dimly lit lounge surrounded by half-naked 30-somethings, each of us listening with rapt attention as Othership co-founder Harrison Taylor gets pumped about the experience before us. There are about 25 people here on a Friday night for the club’s hot-cold session, and by show of hands, I’m the only one who’s yet to take the plunge.

“Put the hot and cold together and the contrast between the two is way more than the sum of its parts,” Harrison continues. “We are doing deep work here together. We are transforming ourselves,

The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute announced it will stage “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” as the second installment of September 2021’s Met Gala “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.” But New York Times’ Chief Fashion Critic Vanessa Friedman revealed earlier this week that this year’s theme could perhaps be interchangeably referred to as “Gilded Glamour.”

It seems two words have never inspired such speculation as visions of Gilded Age attire have left the internet divided between literal interpretations of the era’s patina of opulence and more

Zoë Kravitz And The Complicated History Of The Pixie Cut

The look is rooted in defiance, independence and women’s autonomy.

Zoë Kravitz can pull off just about any hairstyle. And over the years, she’s changed her look enough times to prove it. The actor has tried a bleach blonde bob, an upper cut, braids, and in The Batman, she pulls the pixie out from her beauty repertoire once again.

As Catwoman (played by Kravitz), Selina Kyle’s ability to alter her persona can be seen in the different hairstyles she chooses. If she’s trying to deceive someone or play a part, Kyle selects one of her many wigs that vary in colour and length. But when she’s her most authentic self, the pixie comes out to play.

It’s a versatile cut that represents the character’s personal freedom. And in the real world, more and more celebs (like Alexa Demie and Florence Pugh)
